- Deuteronomy 5 7:16 - And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods ; for that will be a snare unto thee.
ואכלת את־כל־העמים אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא־תחס עינך עליהם ולא תעבד את־אלהיהם כי־מוקשׁ הוא לך - Deuteronomy 5 8:9 - A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
