- 2 Kings 12 18:9 - And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
ויהי בשׁנה הרביעית למלך חזקיהו היא השׁנה השׁביעית להושׁע בנ־אלה מלך ישׂראל עלה שׁלמנאסר מלכ־אשׁור על־שׁמרון ויצר עליה - 2 Kings 12 18:10 - And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken .
וילכדה מקצה שׁלשׁ שׁנים בשׁנת־שׁשׁ לחזקיה היא שׁנת־תשׁע להושׁע מלך ישׂראל נלכדה שׁמרון - 2 Kings 12 17:6 - In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
בשׁנת התשׁיעית להושׁע לכד מלכ־אשׁור את־שׁמרון ויגל את־ישׂראל אשׁורה וישׁב אתם בחלח ובחבור נהר גוזן וערי מדי - Numbers 4 13:16 - These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.
אלה שׁמות האנשׁים אשׁר־שׁלח משׁה לתור את־הארץ ויקרא משׁה להושׁע בנ־נון יהושׁע - 2 Kings 12 18:1 - Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign .
