- Genesis 1 35:6 - So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.
ויבא יעקב לוזה אשׁר בארץ כנען הוא בית־אל הוא וכל־העם אשׁר־עמו - Joshua 6 18:13 - And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, which is Bethel, southward ; and the border descended to Atarothadar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Bethhoron.
ועבר משׁם הגבול לוזה אל־כתף לוזה נגבה היא בית־אל וירד הגבול עטרות אדר על־ההר אשׁר מנגב לבית־חרון תחתון - Joshua 6 16:2 - And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
