- Esther 17 8:7 - Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.
ויאמר המלך אחשׁורשׁ לאסתר המלכה ולמרדכי היהודי הנה בית־המן נתתי לאסתר ואתו תלו על־העץ על אשׁר־שׁלח ידו ביהודיים - Esther 17 6:10 - Then the king said to Haman, Make haste , and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said , and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate : let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken .
ויאמר המלך להמן מהר קח את־הלבושׁ ואת־הסוס כאשׁר דברת ועשׂה־כן למרדכי היהודי היושׁב בשׁער המלך אל־תפל דבר מכל אשׁר דברת - Esther 17 4:12 - And they told to Mordecai Esther's words.
ויגידו למרדכי את דברי אסתר נָגַד to declare, make known Bewray, × certainly, ce.. [8686] מׇרְדְּכַי Mordecai אֶסְתֵּר Esther דָּבָר Act, advice, affair, an.. - Esther 17 6:3 - And the king said , What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.
ויאמר המלך מה־נעשׂה יקר וגדולה למרדכי על־זה ויאמרו נערי המלך משׁרתיו לא־נעשׂה עמו דבר - Joshua 6 22:16 - Thus saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against the LORD ?
כה אמרו כל עדת יהוה מה־המעל הזה אשׁר מעלתם באלהי ישׂראל לשׁוב היום מאחרי יהוה בבנותכם לכם מזבח למרדכם היום ביהוה
