- Leviticus 3 25:20 - And if ye shall say , What shall we eat the seventh year ? behold, we shall not sow , nor gather in our increase :
וכי תאמרו מה־נאכל בשׁנה השׁביעת הן לא נזרע ולא נאסף את־תבואתנו - Numbers 4 11:5 - We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely ; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick :
זכרנו את־הדגה אשׁר־נאכל במצרים חנם את הקשׁאים ואת האבטחים ואת־החציר ואת־הבצלים ואת־השׁומים - Isaiah 23 4:1 - And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying , We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel : only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
והחזיקו שׁבע נשׁים באישׁ אחד ביום ההוא לאמר לחמנו נאכל ושׂמלתנו נלבשׁ רק יקרא שׁמך עלינו אסף חרפתנו - Genesis 1 3:2 - And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden :
ותאמר האשׁה אל־הנחשׁ מפרי עצ־הגן נאכל - Numbers 4 11:13 - Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people ? for they weep unto me, saying , Give us flesh, that we may eat .
