- Nehemiah 16 2:17 - Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire : come , and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
ואומר אלהם אתם ראים הרעה אשׁר אנחנו בה אשׁר ירושׁלם חרבה ושׁעריה נצתו באשׁ לכו ונבנה את־חומת ירושׁלם ולא־נהיה עוד חרפה - Job 18 15:33 - He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.
יחמס כגפן בסרו וישׁלך כזית נצתו חָמַס Make bare, shake off, v.. [8799] בֶּסֶר Unripe grape גֶּפֶן Vine, tree שָׁלַךְ Adventure, cast (away, .. ויאמרו לי הנשׁארים אשׁר־נשׁארו מנ־השׁבי שׁם במדינה ברעה גדלה ובחרפה וחומת ירושׁלם מפרצת ושׁעריה נצתו באשׁ - Jeremiah 24 9:10 - For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up , so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle ; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled ; they are gone .
