- Jeremiah 24 18:11 - Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying , Thus saith the LORD ; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good .
ועתה אמר־נא אל־אישׁ־יהודה ועל־יושׁבי ירושׁלם לאמר כה אמר יהוה הנה אנכי יוצר עליכם רעה וחשׁב עליכם מחשׁבה שׁובו נא אישׁ מדרכו הרעה והיטיבו דרכיכם ומעלליכם - Jeremiah 24 26:13 - Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God ; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
ועתה היטיבו דרכיכם ומעלליכם ושׁמעו בקול יהוה אלהיכם וינחם יהוה אל־הרעה אשׁר דבר עליכם - Nehemiah 16 9:35 - For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works.
והם במלכותם ובטובך הרב אשׁר־נתת להם ובארץ הרחבה והשׁמנה אשׁר־נתת לפניהם לא עבדוך ולא־שׁבו ממעלליהם הרעים - Jeremiah 24 17:10 - I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
אני יהוה חקר לב בחן כליות ולתת לאישׁ כדרכו כפרי מעלליו - 2 Kings 12 8:12 - And Hazael said , Why weepeth my lord ? And he answered , Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel : their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.
