הפניו תשׂאון אמ־לאל תריבון נָשָׂא Accept, advance, arise,.. [8799] פָּנִים presence Accept, (a-, be-)fore(.. רִיב Adversary, chide, compl.. [8799] אֵל "god-like one/mighty one" God (god), × goodly, × .. - Judges 7 8:1 - And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites ? And they did chide with him sharply.
ויאמרו אליו אישׁ אפרים מה־הדבר הזה עשׂית לנו לבלתי קראות לנו כי הלכת להלחם במדין ויריבון אתו בחזקה - Genesis 1 26:20 - And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen , saying , The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek ; because they strove with him.
