- Deuteronomy 5 7:19 - The great temptations which thine eyes saw , and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out : so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid .
המסת הגדלת אשׁר־ראו עיניך והאתת והמפתים והיד החזקה והזרע הנטויה אשׁר הוצאך יהוה אלהיך כנ־יעשׂה יהוה אלהיך לכל־העמים אשׁר־אתה ירא מפניהם - Daniel 27 3:15 - Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp , sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made ; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace ; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands ?
כען הן איתיכון עתידין די בעדנא די־תשׁמעון קל קרנא משׁרוקיתא קיתרס שׂבכא פסנתרין וסומפניה וכל זני זמרא תפלון ותסגדון לצלמא די־עבדת והן לא תסגדון בה־שׁעתה תתרמון לגוא־אתון נורא יקדתא ומנ־הוא אלה די ישׁיזבנכון מנ־ידי - Jeremiah 24 1:8 - Be not afraid of their faces : for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
אל־תירא מפניהם כי־אתך אני להצלך נאמ־יהוה - Deuteronomy 5 7:21 - Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible .
לא תערץ מפניהם כי־יהוה אלהיך בקרבך אל גדול ונורא - 2 Kings 12 17:11 - And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger :
ויקטרו־שׁם בכל־במות כגוים אשׁר־הגלה יהוה מפניהם ויעשׂו דברים רעים להכעיס את־יהוה
