- Jeremiah 24 12:3 - But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
ואתה יהוה ידעתני תראני ובחנת לבי אתך התקם כצאן לטבחה והקדשׁם ליום הרגה - Habakkuk 35 1:3 - Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance ? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
למה תראני און ועמל תביט ושׁד וחמס לנגדי ויהי ריב ומדון ישׂא - Job 18 10:18 - Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb ? Oh that I had given up the ghost , and no eye had seen me!
