- Daniel 27 4:18 - This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen . Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation : but thou art able ; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
דנה חלמא חזית אנה מלכא נבוכדנצר ואנתה בלטשׁאצר פשׁרא אמר כל־קבל די כל־חכימי מלכותי לא־יכלין פשׁרא להודעתני ואנתה כהל די רוח־אלהין קדישׁין בך - Job 18 3:21 - Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures ;
המחכים למות ואיננו ויחפרהו ממטמונים חָכָה Long, tarry, wait [8764] מָוֶת (be) dead(-ly), death, .. חָפַר Dig, paw, search out, s.. [8799] מַטְמוֹן Hidden riches, (hid) tr.. - Daniel 27 2:18 - That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret ; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
ורחמין למבעא מנ־קדם אלה שׁמיא על־רזה דנה די לא יהבדון דניאל וחברוהי עמ־שׁאר חכימי בבל - Daniel 27 5:7 - The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers . And the king spake , and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
קרא מלכא בחיל להעלה לאשׁפיא כשׂדיא וגזריא ענה מלכא ואמר לחכימי בבל די כל־אנשׁ די־יקרה כתבה דנה ופשׁרה יחונני ארגונא ילבשׁ והמונכא די־דהבא על־צוארה ותלתי במלכותא ישׁלט - Song of Solomon 22 2:3 - As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons.
