- Leviticus 3 9:8 - Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
ויקרב אהרן אל־המזבח וישׁחט את־עגל החטאת אשׁר־לו אַהֲרוֹן Aaron קָרַב (cause to) approach, (c.. [8799] מִזְבֵּחַ Altar שָׁחַט Kill, offer, shoot out,.. [8799] עֵגֶל Bullock, calf חַטָּאָה Punishment (of sin), pu.. - Numbers 4 18:3 - And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle : only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die .
ושׁמרו משׁמרתך ומשׁמרת כל־האהל אך אל־כלי הקדשׁ ואל־המזבח לא יקרבו ולא־ימתו גמ־הם גמ־אתם - Leviticus 3 9:7 - And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people : and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded .
ויאמר משׁה אל־אהרן קרב אל־המזבח ועשׂה את־חטאתך ואת־עלתך וכפר בעדך ובעד העם ועשׂה את־קרבן העם וכפר בעדם כאשׁר צוה יהוה - Leviticus 3 2:12 - As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD : but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
קרבן ראשׁית תקריבו אתם ליהוה ואל־המזבח לא־יעלו לריח ניחח - Exodus 2 28:43 - And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die : it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
והיו על־אהרן ועל־בניו בבאם אל־אהל מועד או בגשׁתם אל־המזבח לשׁרת בקדשׁ ולא־ישׂאו עון ומתו חקת עולם לו ולזרעו אחריו
