- Leviticus 3 9:7 - And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people : and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded .
ויאמר משׁה אל־אהרן קרב אל־המזבח ועשׂה את־חטאתך ואת־עלתך וכפר בעדך ובעד העם ועשׂה את־קרבן העם וכפר בעדם כאשׁר צוה יהוה - Numbers 4 9:7 - And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man : wherefore are we kept back , that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel ?
ויאמרו האנשׁים ההמה אליו אנחנו טמאים לנפשׁ אדם למה נגרע לבלתי הקרב את־קרבן יהוה במעדו בתוך בני ישׂראל - Leviticus 3 23:14 - And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God : it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
ולחם וקלי וכרמל לא תאכלו עד־עצם היום הזה עד הביאכם את־קרבן אלהיכם חקת עולם לדרתיכם בכל משׁבתיכם - Numbers 4 31:50 - We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten , of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
ונקרב את־קרבן יהוה אישׁ אשׁר מצא כלי־זהב אצעדה וצמיד טבעת עגיל וכומז לכפר על־נפשׁתינו לפני יהוה
