- 1 Kings 11 9:17 - And Solomon built Gezer, and Bethhoron the nether,
ויבן שׁלמה את־גזר ואת־בית חרן תחתון שְׁלֹמֹה Solomon בָּנָה (begin to) build(-er), .. [8799] גֶּזֶר Gazer, Gezer בֵּית חוֹרוֹן Beth-horon תַּחְתּוֹן Lower(-est), nether(-mo.. - 1 Kings 11 9:16 - For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up , and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife.
פרעה מלכ־מצרים עלה וילכד את־גזר וישׂרפה באשׁ ואת־הכנעני הישׁב בעיר הרג ויתנה שׁלחים לבתו אשׁת שׁלמה - 1 Chronicles 13 6:67 - And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs ; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,
ויתנו להם את־ערי המקלט את־שׁכם ואת־מגרשׁיה בהר אפרים ואת־גזר ואת־מגרשׁיה - 1 Kings 11 9:15 - And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised ; for to build the house of the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
וזה דבר־המס אשׁר־העלה המלך שׁלמה לבנות את־בית יהוה ואת־ביתו ואת־המלוא ואת חומת ירושׁלם ואת־חצר ואת־מגדו ואת־גזר - Joshua 6 21:21 - For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer ; and Gezer with her suburbs,
