- 1 Chronicles 13 21:1 - And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
ויעמד שׂטן על־ישׂראל ויסת את־דויד למנות את־ישׂראל שָׂטָן Adversary, Satan, withs.. עָמַד Abide (behind), appoint.. [8799] יִשְׂרָאֵל Israel סוּת Entice, move, persuade,.. [8686] דָּוִד David David מָנָה Appoint, count, number,.. [8800] יִשְׂרָאֵל Israel - 1 Chronicles 13 21:21 - And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.
ויבא דויד עד־ארנן ויבט ארנן וירא את־דויד ויצא מנ־הגרן וישׁתחו לדויד אפים ארצה - 1 Chronicles 13 18:13 - And he put garrisons in Edom ; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went .
