- 2 Kings 12 19:17 - Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,
אמנם יהוה החריבו מלכי אשׁור את־הגוים ואת־ארצם - Deuteronomy 5 19:1 - When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses ;
כי־יכרית יהוה אלהיך את־הגוים אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך את־ארצם וירשׁתם וישׁבת בעריהם ובבתיהם - 1 Kings 11 18:10 - As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said , He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.

ולא־תקיא הארץ אתכם בטמאכם אתה כאשׁר קאה את־הגוי אשׁר לפניכם - Joshua 6 23:4 - Behold , I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain , to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off , even unto the great sea westward .
