- Numbers 4 27:10 - And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.
ואמ־אין לו אחים ונתתם את־נחלתו לאחי אביו אָח Another, brother(-ly); .. נָתַן Add, apply, appoint, as.. [8804] נַחֲלָה Heritage, to inherit, i.. אָב Chief, (fore-)father(-l.. אָח Another, brother(-ly); .. - Numbers 4 33:54 - And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families : and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance : every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth ; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit .
והתנחלתם את־הארץ בגורל למשׁפחתיכם לרב תרבו את־נחלתו ולמעט תמעיט את־נחלתו אל אשׁר־יצא לו שׁמה הגורל לו יהיה למטות אבתיכם תתנחלו - Malachi 39 1:3 - And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
ואת־עשׂו שׂנאתי ואשׂים את־הריו שׁממה ואת־נחלתו לתנות מדבר - Numbers 4 36:2 - And they said , The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel : and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
ויאמרו את־אדני צוה יהוה לתת את־הארץ בנחלה בגורל לבני ישׂראל ואדני צוה ביהוה לתת את־נחלת צלפחד אחינו לבנתיו - Numbers 4 27:7 - The daughters of Zelophehad speak right : thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren ; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
