- Jeremiah 24 44:27 - Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good : and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.
הנני שׁקד עליהם לרעה ולא לטובה ותמו כל־אישׁ יהודה אשׁר בארצ־מצרים בחרב וברעב עד־כלותם - Exodus 2 12:12 - For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast ; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment : I am the LORD.
ועברתי בארצ־מצרים בלילה הזה והכיתי כל־בכור בארץ מצרים מאדם ועד־בהמה ובכל־אלהי מצרים אעשׂה שׁפטים אני יהוה - Jeremiah 24 32:20 - Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men ; and hast made thee a name, as at this day ;
