- 2 Samuel 10 3:35 - And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David sware , saying , So do God to me, and more also , if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down .
ויבא כל־העם להברות את־דוד לחם בעוד היום וישׁבע דוד לאמר כה יעשׂה־לי אלהים וכה יסיף כי אמ־לפני בוא־השׁמשׁ אטעמ־לחם או כל־מאומה - Genesis 1 37:20 - Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say , Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
