- 2 Samuel 10 3:35 - And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David sware , saying , So do God to me, and more also , if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down .
ויבא כל־העם להברות את־דוד לחם בעוד היום וישׁבע דוד לאמר כה יעשׂה־לי אלהים וכה יסיף כי אמ־לפני בוא־השׁמשׁ אטעמ־לחם או כל־מאומה - Deuteronomy 5 12:18 - But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose , thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates : and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
