- 1 Samuel 9 25:7 - And now I have heard that thou hast shearers : now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
ועתה שׁמעתי כי גזזים לך עתה הרעים אשׁר־לך היו עמנו לא הכלמנום ולא־נפקד להם מאומה כל־ימי היותם בכרמל - Ezekiel 26 29:6 - And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
וידעו כל־ישׁבי מצרים כי אני יהוה יען היותם משׁענת קנה לבית ישׂראל - Psalms 19 105:12 - When they were but a few men in number ; yea, very few, and strangers in it.

ויאמר קין אל־הבל אחיו ויהי בהיותם בשׂדה ויקם קין אל־הבל אחיו ויהרגהו - Leviticus 3 26:44 - And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies , I will not cast them away , neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly , and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
