- Exodus 2 16:17 - And the children of Israel did so, and gathered , some more , some less .
ויעשׂו־כן בני ישׂראל וילקטו המרבה והממעיט - Exodus 2 16:18 - And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over , and he that gathered little had no lack ; they gathered every man according to his eating.
וימדו בעמר ולא העדיף המרבה והממעיט לא החסיר אישׁ לפי־אכלו לקטו - Numbers 4 11:32 - And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails : he that gathered least gathered ten homers : and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
