- Ecclesiastes 21 4:2 - Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive.
ושׁבח אני את־המתים שׁכבר מתו מנ־החיים אשׁר המה חיים עדנה - Deuteronomy 5 18:11 - Or a charmer , or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer .
וחבר חבר ושׁאל אוב וידעני ודרשׁ אל־המתים - Numbers 4 16:48 - And he stood between the dead and the living ; and the plague was stayed .
