- Deuteronomy 5 21:4 - And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown , and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley :
והורדו זקני העיר ההוא את־העגלה אל־נחל איתן אשׁר לא־יעבד בו ולא יזרע וערפו־שׁם את־העגלה בנחל - 1 Samuel 9 6:14 - And the cart came into the field of Joshua, a Bethshemite, and stood there, where there was a great stone : and they clave the wood of the cart, and offered the kine a burnt offering unto the LORD.
והעגלה באה אל־שׂדה יהושׁע בית־השׁמשׁי ותעמד שׁם ושׁם אבן גדולה ויבקעו את־עצי העגלה ואת־הפרות העלו עלה ליהוה - 1 Samuel 9 6:11 - And they laid the ark of the LORD upon the cart, and the coffer with the mice of gold and the images of their emerods.
וישׂמו את־ארון יהוה אל־העגלה ואת הארגז ואת עכברי הזהב ואת צלמי טחריהם - 2 Samuel 10 6:3 - And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah : and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.
וירכבו את־ארון האלהים אל־עגלה חדשׁה וישׂאהו מבית אבינדב אשׁר בגבעה ועזא ואחיו בני אבינדב נהגים את־העגלה חדשׁה - Isaiah 23 5:18 - Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope :
הוי משׁכי העון בחבלי השׁוא וכעבות העגלה חטאה
