- Leviticus 3 20:4 - And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not :
ואם העלם יעלימו עם הארץ את־עיניהם מנ־האישׁ ההוא בתתו מזרעו למלך לבלתי המית אתו - 1 Samuel 9 17:56 - And the king said , Enquire thou whose son the stripling is.
ויאמר המלך שׁאל אתה בנ־מי־זה העלם מֶלֶךְ king King, royal אָמַר "to say/speak/utter" Answer, appoint, avouch.. [8799] שָׁאַל Ask (counsel, on), beg,.. [8798] בֵּן son Afflicted, age, (Ahoh-.. עֶלֶם Young man, stripling - Ecclesiastes 21 3:11 - He hath made every thing beautiful in his time : also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
את־הכל עשׂה יפה בעתו גם את־העלם נתן בלבם מבלי אשׁר לא־ימצא האדם את־המעשׂה אשׁר־עשׂה האלהים מראשׁ ועד־סוף - 1 Chronicles 13 16:36 - Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said , Amen, and praised the LORD.
