- 2 Samuel 10 4:8 - And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy , which sought thy life ; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.
ויבאו את־ראשׁ אישׁ־בשׁת אל־דוד חברון ויאמרו אל־המלך הנה־ראשׁ אישׁ־בשׁת בנ־שׁאול איבך אשׁר בקשׁ את־נפשׁך ויתן יהוה לאדני המלך נקמות היום הזה משׁאול ומזרעו - Jeremiah 24 22:30 - Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days : for no man of his seed shall prosper , sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
כה אמר יהוה כתבו את־האישׁ הזה ערירי גבר לא־יצלח בימיו כי לא יצלח מזרעו אישׁ ישׁב על־כסא דוד ומשׁל עוד ביהודה - Leviticus 3 20:2 - Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech ; he shall surely be put to death : the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
ואל־בני ישׂראל תאמר אישׁ אישׁ מבני ישׂראל ומנ־הגר הגר בישׂראל אשׁר יתן מזרעו למלך מות יומת עם הארץ ירגמהו באבן - Jeremiah 24 33:26 - Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob : for I will cause their captivity to return , and have mercy on them.
גמ־זרע יעקוב ודוד עבדי אמאס מקחת מזרעו משׁלים אל־זרע אברהם ישׂחק ויעקב כי־אשׁוב את־שׁבותם ורחמתים - Leviticus 3 20:3 - And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people ; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
ואני אתן את־פני באישׁ ההוא והכרתי אתו מקרב עמו כי מזרעו נתן למלך למען טמא את־מקדשׁי ולחלל את־שׁם קדשׁי
