- 2 Kings 12 23:16 - And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent , and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed , who proclaimed these words.
ויפן יאשׁיהו וירא את־הקברים אשׁר־שׁם בהר וישׁלח ויקח את־העצמות מנ־הקברים וישׂרף על־המזבח ויטמאהו כדבר יהוה אשׁר קרא אישׁ האלהים אשׁר קרא את־הדברים האלה - 2 Chronicles 14 36:14 - Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen ; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

בנ־אדם בית ישׂראל ישׁבים על־אדמתם ויטמאו אותה בדרכם ובעלילותם כטמאת הנדה היתה דרכם לפני - Ezekiel 26 23:17 - And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.
