- Joshua 6 7:5 - And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men : for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down : wherefore the hearts of the people melted , and became as water.
ויכו מהם אנשׁי העי כשׁלשׁים ושׁשׁה אישׁ וירדפום לפני השׁער עד־השׁברים ויכום במורד וימס לבב־העם ויהי למים - Joshua 6 2:11 - And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt , neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.
ונשׁמע וימס לבבנו ולא־קמה עוד רוח באישׁ מפניכם כי יהוה אלהיכם הוא אלהים בשׁמים ממעל ועל־הארץ מתחת - Judges 7 15:14 - And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
הוא־בא עד־לחי ופלשׁתים הריעו לקראתו ותצלח עליו רוח יהוה ותהיינה העבתים אשׁר על־זרועותיו כפשׁתים אשׁר בערו באשׁ וימסו אסוריו מעל ידיו - Joshua 6 5:1 - And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over , that their heart melted , neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.
ויהי כשׁמע כל־מלכי האמרי אשׁר בעבר הירדן ימה וכל־מלכי הכנעני אשׁר על־הים את אשׁר־הובישׁ יהוה את־מי הירדן מפני בני־ישׂראל עד־עברנו וימס לבבם ולא־היה בם עוד רוח מפני בני־ישׂראל - Numbers 4 31:5 - So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
