- 2 Samuel 10 10:6 - And when the children of Ammon saw that they stank before David, the children of Ammon sent and hired the Syrians of Bethrehob, and the Syrians of Zoba, twenty thousand footmen, and of king Maacah a thousand men, and of Ishtob twelve thousand men.
ויראו בני עמון כי נבאשׁו בדוד וישׁלחו בני־עמון וישׂכרו את־ארם בית־רחוב ואת־ארם צובא עשׂרים אלף רגלי ואת־מלך מעכה אלף אישׁ ואישׁ טוב שׁנימ־עשׂר אלף אישׁ - 1 Kings 11 4:26 - And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

ונשׁלוח ספרים ביד הרצים אל־כל־מדינות המלך להשׁמיד להרג ולאבד את־כל־היהודים מנער ועד־זקן טף ונשׁים ביום אחד בשׁלושׁה עשׂר לחדשׁ שׁנימ־עשׂר הוא־חדשׁ אדר ושׁללם לבוז - Ezra 15 8:35 - Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering : all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
