- Deuteronomy 5 12:2 - Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree :
אבד תאבדון את־כל־המקמות אשׁר עבדו־שׁם הגוים אשׁר אתם ירשׁים אתם את־אלהיהם על־ההרים הרמים ועל־הגבעות ותחת כל־עץ רענן - 2 Kings 12 16:4 - And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

על־ראשׁי ההרים יזבחו ועל־הגבעות יקטרו תחת אלון ולבנה ואלה כי טוב צלה על־כן תזנינה בנותיכם וכלותיכם תנאפנה - Isaiah 23 65:7 - Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills : therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
