- Deuteronomy 5 6:15 - lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
כי אל קנא יהוה אלהיך בקרבך פנ־יחרה אפ־יהוה אלהיך בך והשׁמידך מעל פני האדמה - Exodus 2 32:11 - And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said , LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand ?
ויחל משׁה את־פני יהוה אלהיו ויאמר למה יהוה יחרה אפך בעמך אשׁר הוצאת מארץ מצרים בכח גדול וביד חזקה - 1 Samuel 9 20:7 - If he say thus, It is well ; thy servant shall have peace : but if he be very wroth , then be sure that evil is determined by him.
