- Psalms 19 59:11 - Slay them not, lest my people forget : scatter them by thy power ; and bring them down , O Lord our shield.
אל־תהרגם פנ־ישׁכחו עמי הניעמו בחילך והורידמו מגננו אדני - Psalms 19 78:11 - And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.
וישׁכחו עלילותיו ונפלאותיו אשׁר הראם שָׁכַח × at all, (cause to) fo.. [8799] עֲלִילָה Act(-ion), deed, doing,.. פָּלָא Accomplish, (arise...to.. [8737] רָאָה Advise self, appear, ap.. [8689] - 1 Samuel 9 12:9 - And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.
וישׁכחו את־יהוה אלהיהם וימכר אתם ביד סיסרא שׂר־צבא חצור וביד־פלשׁתים וביד מלך מואב וילחמו בם - Psalms 19 78:7 - That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments :
וישׂימו באלהים כסלם ולא ישׁכחו מעללי־אל ומצותיו ינצרו - Judges 7 3:7 - And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.
ויעשׂו בני־ישׂראל את־הרע בעיני יהוה וישׁכחו את־יהוה אלהיהם ויעבדו את־הבעלים ואת־האשׁרות
