- 1 Samuel 9 6:15 - And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone : and the men of Bethshemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto the LORD.
והלוים הורידו את־ארון יהוה ואת־הארגז אשׁר־אתו אשׁר־בו כלי־זהב וישׂמו אל־האבן הגדולה ואנשׁי בית־שׁמשׁ העלו עלות ויזבחו זבחים ביום ההוא ליהוה - Numbers 4 31:50 - We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten , of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
