- Exodus 2 25:19 - And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end : even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
ועשׂה כרוב אחד מקצה מזה וכרוב־אחד מקצה מזה מנ־הכפרת תעשׂו את־הכרבים על־שׁני קצותיו - Ezekiel 26 10:14 - And every one had four faces : the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
וארבעה פנים לאחד פני האחד פני הכרוב ופני השׁני פני אדם והשׁלישׁי פני אריה והרביעי פני־נשׁר - 2 Chronicles 14 3:12 - And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house : and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
