- Numbers 4 35:5 - And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits ; and the city shall be in the midst : this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.
ומדתם מחוץ לעיר את־פאת־קדמה אלפים באמה ואת־פאת־נגב אלפים באמה ואת־פאת־ים אלפים באמה ואת פאת צפון אלפים באמה והעיר בתוך זה יהיה להם מגרשׁי הערים - 1 Kings 11 6:6 - The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad : for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
היצוע התחתנה חמשׁ באמה רחבה והתיכנה שׁשׁ באמה רחבה והשׁלישׁית שׁבע באמה רחבה כי מגרעות נתן לבית סביב חוצה לבלתי אחז בקירות־הבית - Exodus 2 27:9 - And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle : for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side :

כי־בן מנבל אב בת קמה באמה כלה בחמתה איבי אישׁ אנשׁי ביתו
