- Joshua 6 19:49 - When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
ויכלו לנחל־את־הארץ לגבולתיה ויתנו בני־ישׂראל נחלה ליהושׁע בנ־נון בתוכם - Joshua 6 10:17 - And it was told Joshua, saying , The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.
ויגד ליהושׁע לאמר נמצאו חמשׁת המלכים נחבאים במערה במקדה - Deuteronomy 5 31:7 - And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage : for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
