- Numbers 4 14:30 - Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
אמ־אתם תבאו אל־הארץ אשׁר נשׂאתי את־ידי לשׁכן אתכם בה כי אמ־כלב בנ־יפנה ויהושׁע בנ־נון - Joshua 6 14:13 - And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.
ויברכהו יהושׁע ויתן את־חברון לכלב בנ־יפנה לנחלה - Numbers 4 14:6 - And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes :
ויהושׁע בנ־נון וכלב בנ־יפנה מנ־התרים את־הארץ קרעו בגדיהם - Numbers 4 34:19 - And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

ולכלב בנ־יפנה נתן חלק בתוך בני־יהודה אל־פי יהוה ליהושׁע את־קרית ארבע אבי הענק היא חברון
