- 2 Samuel 10 18:10 - And a certain man saw it, and told Joab, and said , Behold, I saw Absalom hanged in an oak.
וירא אישׁ אחד ויגד ליואב ויאמר הנה ראיתי את־אבשׁלם תלוי באלה - 1 Kings 11 2:22 - And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah ? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother ; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
ויען המלך שׁלמה ויאמר לאמו ולמה את שׁאלת את־אבישׁג השׁנמית לאדניהו ושׁאלי־לו את־המלוכה כי הוא אחי הגדול ממני ולו ולאביתר הכהן וליואב בנ־צרויה - 2 Samuel 10 3:23 - When Joab and all the host that was with him were come , they told Joab, saying , Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away , and he is gone in peace.
