- Esther 17 5:8 - If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
אמ־מצאתי חן בעיני המלך ואמ־על־המלך טוב לתת את־שׁאלתי ולעשׂות את־בקשׁתי יבוא המלך והמן אל־המשׁתה אשׁר אעשׂה להם ומחר אעשׂה כדבר המלך - Daniel 27 4:17 - This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones : to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will , and setteth up over it the basest of men.
