- 1 Samuel 9 26:25 - Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David : thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail . So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
ויאמר שׁאול אל־דוד ברוך אתה בני דוד גם עשׂה תעשׂה וגם יכל תוכל וילך דוד לדרכו ושׁאול שׁב למקומו - 1 Samuel 9 5:3 - And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again .
וישׁכמו אשׁדודים ממחרת והנה דגון נפל לפניו ארצה לפני ארון יהוה ויקחו את־דגון וישׁבו אתו למקומו - 1 Samuel 9 6:2 - And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners , saying , What shall we do to the ark of the LORD ? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
