- 1 Samuel 9 31:8 - And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
ויהי ממחרת ויבאו פלשׁתים לפשׁט את־החללים וימצאו את־שׁאול ואת־שׁלשׁת בניו נפלים בהר הגלבע - 2 Samuel 10 23:10 - He arose , and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary , and his hand clave unto the sword : and the LORD wrought a great victory that day ; and the people returned after him only to spoil .
