- Daniel 27 10:11 - And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright : for unto thee am I now sent . And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling .
ויאמר אלי דניאל אישׁ־חמדות הבן בדברים אשׁר אנכי דבר אליך ועמד על־עמדך כי עתה שׁלחתי אליך ובדברו עמי את־הדבר הזה עמדתי מרעיד - Jeremiah 24 44:15 - Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by , a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying ,
ויענו את־ירמיהו כל־האנשׁים הידעים כי־מקטרות נשׁיהם לאלהים אחרים וכל־הנשׁים העמדות קהל גדול וכל־העם הישׁבים בארצ־מצרים בפתרוס לאמר - Psalms 19 122:2 - Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
עמדות היו רגלינו בשׁעריך ירושׁלם רֶגֶל foot/leg × be able to endure, × .. עָמַד Abide (behind), appoint.. [8802] שַׁעַר City, door, gate, port,.. יְרוּשָׁלִַם Jerusalem - Ezekiel 26 40:35 - And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures ;
ויביאני אל־שׁער הצפון ומדד כמדות האלה בּוֹא Abide, apply, attain, ×.. [8686] צָפוֹן North(-ern, -ward) (sid.. שַׁעַר City, door, gate, port,.. מָדַד Measure, mete, stretch .. [8804] מִדָּה Garment, measure(-ing),.. - Ezekiel 26 40:33 - And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures : and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about : it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
