ונלכד את־כל־עריו בעת ההוא ונחרם את־כל־עיר מתם והנשׁים והטף לא השׁארנו שׂריד - Isaiah 23 28:22 - Now therefore be ye not mockers , lest your bands be made strong : for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
ועתה אל־תתלוצצו פנ־יחזקו מוסריכם כי־כלה ונחרצה שׁמעתי מאת אדני יהוה צבאות על־כל־הארץ - Isaiah 23 37:37 - So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed , and went and returned , and dwelt at Nineveh.

הטה יהוה אזנך ושׁמע פקח יהוה עינך וראה ושׁמע את כל־דברי סנחריב אשׁר שׁלח לחרף אלהים חי - Ezekiel 26 15:4 - Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel ; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned . Is it meet for any work ?
הנה לאשׁ נתן לאכלה את שׁני קצותיו אכלה האשׁ ותוכו נחר היצלח למלאכה
