- Joshua 6 23:13 - Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
ידוע תדעו כי לא יוסיף יהוה אלהיכם להורישׁ את־הגוים האלה מלפניכם והיו לכם לפח ולמוקשׁ ולשׁטט בצדיכם ולצננים בעיניכם עד־אבדכם מעל האדמה הטובה הזאת אשׁר נתן לכם יהוה אלהיכם - Job 18 31:12 - For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.
