- 1 Samuel 9 7:3 - And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying , If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
ויאמר שׁמואל אל־כל־בית ישׂראל לאמר אמ־בכל־לבבכם אתם שׁבים אל־יהוה הסירו את־אלהי הנכר מתוככם והעשׁתרות והכינו לבבכם אל־יהוה ועבדהו לבדו ויצל אתכם מיד פלשׁתים - Judges 7 2:13 - And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.

וגבול עוג מלך הבשׁן מיתר הרפאים היושׁב בעשׁתרות ובאדרעי - Joshua 6 9:10 - And all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth.
