- 2 Samuel 10 8:3 - David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates.
ויך דוד את־הדדעזר בנ־רחב מלך צובה בלכתו להשׁיב ידו בנהר־ - Psalms 19 60:1 - O God, thou hast cast us off , thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased ; O turn thyself to us again .
למנצח על־שׁושׁן עדות מכתם לדוד ללמד בהצותו את ארם נהרים ואת־ארם צובה וישׁב יואב ויך את־אדום בגיא־מלח שׁנים עשׂר אלף אלהים זנחתנו פרצתנו אנפת תשׁובב לנו - 1 Chronicles 13 18:5 - And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.
