- Genesis 1 19:13 - For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD ; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
כי־משׁחתים אנחנו את־המקום הזה כי־גדלה צעקתם את־פני יהוה וישׁלחנו יהוה לשׁחתה - Ezekiel 26 22:30 - And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
ואבקשׁ מהם אישׁ גדר־גדר ועמד בפרץ לפני בעד הארץ לבלתי שׁחתה ולא מצאתי - Exodus 2 21:26 - And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish ; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.
