- Numbers 4 16:39 - And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered ; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar :
ויקח אלעזר הכהן את מחתות הנחשׁת אשׁר הקריבו השׂרפים וירקעום צפוי למזבח - 2 Kings 12 17:31 - And the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.
והעוים עשׂו נבחז ואת־תרתק והספרוים שׂרפים את־בניהם באשׁ לאדרמלך וענמלך אלה ספרים - Isaiah 23 6:2 - Above it stood the seraphims : each one had six wings ; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly .
שׂרפים עמדים ממעל לו שׁשׁ כנפים שׁשׁ כנפים לאחד בשׁתים יכסה פניו ובשׁתים יכסה רגליו ובשׁתים יעופף - Isaiah 23 6:6 - Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar :
ויעף אלי אחד מנ־השׂרפים ובידו רצפה במלקחים לקח מעל המזבח - Numbers 4 21:6 - And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people ; and much people of Israel died .
וישׁלח יהוה בעם את הנחשׁים השׂרפים וינשׁכו את־העם וימת עמ־רב מישׂראל
