- 1 Kings 11 20:27 - And the children of Israel were numbered , and were all present , and went against them: and the children of Israel pitched before them like two little flocks of kids ; but the Syrians filled the country.
ובני ישׂראל התפקדו וכלכלו וילכו לקראתם ויחנו בני־ישׂראל נגדם כשׁני חשׂפי עזים וארם מלאו את־הארץ - Numbers 4 1:3 - From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel : thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
מבן עשׂרים שׁנה ומעלה כל־יצא צבא בישׂראל תפקדו אתם לצבאתם אתה ואהרן - Numbers 4 1:47 - But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

ויתפקדו בני בנימן ביום ההוא מהערים עשׂרים ושׁשׁה אלף אישׁ שׁלף חרב לבד מישׁבי הגבעה התפקדו שׁבע מאות אישׁ בחור - Judges 7 20:17 - And the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword : all these were men of war.
