- 2 Samuel 10 13:7 - Then David sent home to Tamar, saying , Go now to thy brother Amnon's house, and dress him meat.
וישׁלח דוד אל־תמר הביתה לאמר לכי נא בית אמנון אחיך ועשׂי־לו הבריה - 1 Samuel 9 17:55 - And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth ? And Abner said , As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell .
וכראות שׁאול את־דוד יצא לקראת הפלשׁתי אמר אל־אבנר שׂר הצבא בנ־מי־זה הנער אבנר ויאמר אבנר חי־נפשׁך המלך אמ־ידעתי - 1 Samuel 9 25:4 - And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.
